    I was late in sending a bill to a doctor. Can i use: Please excuse my tardiness, please excuse the tardiness, or do you think there's another phrase i can use. thank you.

    You are sending payment to the Dr., right?

    He has sent you a bill.

    Say:

    Please excuse my tardiness in making this payment. Enclosed is _________ for account ______________.
