    Do you hope that your children may be king?

    If you believe the withces, you may become king.


    Why is the first "be" and the second "become" ?

    If he becomes king, then his children will inherit the right to the throne, but it is dependent on him getting the position in the first place.

    I don't think there's any grammatical reason that 'be' and 'become' are used in this way here. In either case, you have to become King before you can be King (at least you can't be it before you become it). I think you could interchange them here without a difference in meaning.
