    of its kind?

    Hi, guys,
What does "of its kind" mean?
The recently introduced Magnum Electronics' toaster oven guarantees the
best cooking results of its kind.

    Thank You.^^

    Re: of its kind?

(I am not a teacher) This phrase just means "compared to other similar toaster ovens".

"Of its kind" can also be expressed "of the same type" or "of the same genre". I'm curious when this sentence was written as it does sound a little old-fashioned.
