    grants approval subject to adjustments

    Hello everyone

    I'd like to ask what "grants approval subject to adjustments" means in the following context:

    Once campaign accounts have been analyzed, the Commission may come to one of the following decisions:
    - The Commission approves the campaign accounts;
    - The Commission grants approval subject to adjustments, notably when expenses undertaken by the candidate are not related to the electoral process;
    - The commission rejects the accounts due to non-conformity with legislative regulations

    Does it mean that Commission grants approval, but later adjustments to the accounts should be made?

    Yes, specifically, 'expenses ... not related to the electoral process'.
