    Re: a.m. or p.m.

You add a.m for times between midnight and midday, and p.m for times between midday and midnight.
Twelve o clock can be mentioned midday, noon or midnight.
The morning is the time from midnight to midday, the afternoon is the time from midday until about 5 pm or 6 pm, and the evening is the time from 5 pm or 6 pm until about 10 pm.
    Hope that help you.
