    Write up -Salah

    Hi!

Here is my write up. Can any one check its grammer and tell me is it correct?

Any appropriate suggestions on alternate way of writing also welcome!!

    Flag

    Bhutan:

People of Bhutan often call their country by the name “Druk Yul” or “The Land of the Thunder”

The design of its national flag refers to the Buddhist history, when a monastery called “The Druk” was set up there during 13th Century.

The national flag is rectangular and divided in to two parts diagonally with a white dragon across the middle.

The lower orange half of the flag signifies the authority of the Buddhist faith and the upper yellow half signifies for the secular realm.

The white color of dragon signifies purity and jewels in its claws represent the wealth.

    Iran:

The traditional Iranian flag has three colors. They represent the following.

    Green-The Islamic religion
    White- The hope for piece
    Red- Courage in battle

This tricolor became the country’s national flag in 1907.In 1979, Shah of Iran was overthrown and the country became an Islamic republic.

Then the national flag's original emblem- a lion with a sword standing in front of a rising sun- was replaced with a new religious emblem- a stylized representation of the word “Allah” in the shape of red tulip, a symbol of martyrdom.

The legend "God is Great," in Kufic script given along the borders of the green and white bands.

    Kindly answer ASAP

    Regards

    Frah

    Re: Write up -Salah

The legendary land of Bhutan was first settled in the 9th century by wandering migrants from the Tibet region of China.

Called Druk Yul (Land of the Thunder Dragon) by its people, the strikingly beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan lies in the eastern Himalayas, sandwiched between China and India.
