    Cool Does it sounds English?

    Sentence:

It was then when our company, more devoted than resources at hand...

Can it be said what's in red?

or would it be more suitable: more devoted than having resources...

    Thanks a lot

By the way; Does it sound good in English. No 's' in the interrogative form.

    Re: Does it sounds English?

You will have to give more context for us to understand what you are trying to say.

Well, it's a shipyard company that's beginning and starts building little ships, so they explain that at the beginning they had more devotion than resources to build those little ships. What follows, of course, is their enhancement, their growing up as a company, and their success...

    Thank You.

Thank You very much for your really kind attention, but at risk to be a pest, I keep asking first at all admitting I see now my fault was not giving more paragraph, which I apologize for. This question in red is not a finished sentence, but rather an explanation amidst the main sentence.

Taking that into account, would it be correct to say:

"It was then, with more devotion than resources at hand, our company began building little ships."?

    Thank You again.

Yes that's fine. You see, context is all important.
