Smile landlord ⓐrater (ⓑon the contrary) put the price up

Hello~ Can you help me say this naturally please?

A: when does your lease end?

    B: I still have 10 months to go. I signed 12months contract.

A: Thats too long, man. Why did you do that?
What if you can find better house than this? There is no way to move out.

B: I know, I was a bit rash at that time.

A: Did you get some discount for the long lease by any chance?

B: No way, landlord ⓐrater (ⓑon the contrary) put the price up for $5 a week, you know.

A: That's ridiculous, it usually cheaper for long lease.

B: Yea, anyway, it is no use regretting. There is no way but just accepting the reality.

or: raised the rent by $5 a week.

A: That's ridiculous, it's usually cheaper for a long lease.

B: Yeah, anyway, it is no use regretting. (a perfect idiom would be: It's no use crying over spilt milk.) There is no way (or: nothing to do) but just to accept the reality.
    I hope this is helpful,

    Petra
