    how can I tell her

    Hi,

    1. "She's up in the good times and she's down in the bad."
What does the quote mean? I wonder how the verse fits in the song?
Does it mean 'she's up when I'm in the good times and she's down
when I'm in the bad times, in other words, she's totally influenced by me,
    the song writer?

    2. "We can talk of tomorrow. I'll tell her things that I want to do."
Do 'talk of tomorrow' and 'talk about tomorrow' mean the same thing?

    3. "Telling someone we're through."
Is it OK to say, we're over or we're done to mean our relationship has ended?

    Thanks

Well, it could mean that, but the most likely explanation is that it is about her. The song writer is describing someone:

She's happy when she feels life is worthwhile, and unhappy when she doesn't.

But your "influenced by the song writer" idea is entirely plausable.

Yes, I think the meanings are roughly synonymous.

    3. "Telling someone we're through."

Yes, I think - in meaning - they're all similar.

    Thanks
