    Simple question but I don't know -*-

What have you done? What did you do?

    What do these two mean?

and if I see someone dies and a killer is there with a knife what tense should I use?(what have you done or what did you do) or I can use both?

    Thanks

    Thanks
In my opinion " what have you done ?" mean you did st in the past. The action you did started from the past and it still connects to present
    This sentence emphasizes the action.
And " What did you do ?" mean you did something in the past and you finished it. That action doesn't connect to present. It emphasizes the perfection of an action.
If I were you I would choose " what did you do?"

I think you should write " if I see someone died.."

Isn't it have a connection to present because someone has died and now he's dead?

and if I'm wrong, what situation should I use "What have you done"?

    Thanks
If I see someone dying ...

In this situation 'What have you done?'

However, you'd better not ask any questions in such a situation. Who knows what is on the killer's mind! Just pretend not to notice what is going on and make some casual remark.

I saw a monster was freezing (in the game) a character said "What did you do" why didn't he use "What have you done" instead of "What did you do"? Wasn't it still freezing? Or the game was wrong? -*-

    The game was right.
You can see that the action " freeze a character " was done. And this action was finished ( so you saw the character was frozen ).
Or we can understand that the monster froze the character, the character frozen directly. So the character said " what did you do?".
The character was still freezing but the action " freeze the character " was finished. This action belongs to past tense.
