    To give someone the best....

    Dear Teachers,

There is a passage from a book in which a person is describing John Maynard Keynes and he says, "I gave him the best whenever I met him. He(Keynes) took it gratefully and repaid whenever he could." What does the author mean when he says, "I gave him the best?"

    Thank you.

    YY

How are you doing? Are you okay? I hope everything is going well with you and your wife and the kids. Have a good day!
