    what does this sentence mean?

I've come across this sentence in a mail my friend sent me, but I really have no idea what it means.

"I had five million family things over break..."

So please tell me what she meant by that. Thank you.

Re: what does this sentence mean?

"Break" means a calm period when she had fewer things to do. Even in this interval, she had a lot of things to do familywise.

Do you mean 'over the break'?
If so, it means that your friend had/did many family-related things during the break.
