Smile I prefer not to be carpeted.

    Hello~
Today I went to look for a room and I talk with landlord this conversation.
Can you help me say this naturally please?

A: Oh, I couldn’t imagine your house is carpeted.
ⓐ I prefer not to be carpeted.
ⓑ I better not to have carpet.

B: Downstairs is not carpeted. You can rent downstairs if you want.

    A: I prefer to upstairs.
    I better to upstairs.
And, I'm wondering if there is any possibility to give me discount?
I'm wondering if there is any chance to provide me a bit cheaper?
ⓒ I'm wondering if there is any chance to put the rent down a bit?

B: Sorry, $130 is the best price. It's alreday cheaper.

    Hi, flytothesky!

A: I'm interested in renting the room. Is it possible for you to give me a discount/ lower rate for the monthly rent?

B: Sorry! The best price I can give you is $130. It's already as low as I can go!

    Cheers,
    Amigo
