    rent a house

    Hello, Teachers.

The following dialogue was between a real estate agent (A) and his customer (B). I have on idea about the words in blue. Could you explain them for me, please?

B: Oh, before I forget, what sort of things do I need to get done to rent with you?
A: Well, the most important thing is a letter from your bank.
    B: No problem.
A: And then a reference letter from your employer.
    B: Yes, that's Ok.
A: Great, and then we would need you to give 2 weeks' notice of moving in.
B: Right... And what about a deposit?
A: That's one month's rent, whatever the amount is.
    B: OK... Is that it?
A: No, sorry, one more... you will have to pay for the contract.

A: Well, the most important thing is a letter from your bank. = a written statement probably giving information on your financial situation
    B: No problem.
A: And then a reference letter from your employer. = a positive written statement by the company / person you work for about your person / stable income ...
    B: Yes, that's Ok.
A: Great, and then we would need you to give 2 weeks' notice of moving in. = They want to know when you want to move into the flat 2 weeks before you move in. e. g. if you want to move in on 1 Feb, tell them the date on 18 January (or better on 16 Jan, 18 is a Sunday )
B: Right... And what about a deposit?
A: That's one month's rent, whatever the amount is.

A: No, sorry, one more... you will have to pay for the contract. Maybe a fee? Not sure about this
