Hi, why we are using " have had " in a same sentence? can anyone explain about this with one example if you are aware of this?
The present perfect tense is formed by means of the auxiliary verb 'have' plus the past participle of the notional verb.
I have just had dinner.
In the example above it just happens that the notional verb is also expressed by the form of the verb 'to have'. That's how we have two 'haves' in one sentence.
