    Which sentence is correct?

Can someone please tell me which sentence is correct and why. I've been trying to find an answer for weeks and there is only one possibility.

    a) I refuse to believe her even though she is right.

    b) I refuse to believe her no matter how right she seems to be.

    Thank you.

In this sentence you are refusing to believe something which you are stating to be true. Illogical.

    b) I refuse to believe her no matter how right she seems to be.
    This is correct.
