    Are these sentences correct:

    1-On the dresser was where to put the lamp.
    2-On the dresser was the place to put the lamp.

    May I suggest changing the word order:

    The place to put the lamp was on the dresser.

    The first sentence seems to want a personal pronoun:

    On the dresser is where we [used to] put the lamp.
