    "the worst is to know that I didn't want to do that, but was forced by the circumstances..."

    is it wrong, please?

    No, it's quite good! May I suggest one thing:

    "the worst of it" or "the worst of it all". Common phrase. "All" can be added if you've already enunumerated more than complaint; without "all" you're focussing on the worst part of one problem.

    But it's up to you.
