    Post pronouns

'I' is a singular pronoun so it takes a singular verb like "I was..." and "I am....".
But "I have..." and "I eat..." is also correct.
please explain why it is also correct and tell me the rules about it.

    thanks!!!!

The verb BE (is, are, was, were, and so on) is irregular in form. The verb HAVE is regular and changes form in the 3rd person singular only; e.g., she has, he has, it has. The verb EAT is also regular and changes form in the 3rd person singular only; e.g., she eats, he eats, it eats. The variation you find is a matter of the history of the language, nothing more.
