    Hello or Hallo

    Hello!
I have heard that word 'hallo' is impolite variant of 'hello'.
Is it true? Thank for your help.

Yes, not necessarily impolite, but a very informal spoken greeting, if written then usually in fiction. To me, though, sitting in Canada, it sounds British and fairly old: something people might have said before WWII.

I haven't heard of it in English, but in German, Hallo! is about the same as calling to someone by saying "Hey you!" It is not polite.

Very likely, but the OED's only quotations for "hallo" are from Herbert Spencer, Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie, and Notes and Queries.
