    Post please explain...

    the word Books in the sentence "I read books", does imply different kinds of books.Is it correct for me to say "I read a book" if I want to imply only one book.

    Do you mean at the moment? If you do then you should say 'I am reading a book.' If you say 'I read a book' it implies that there is one book that you read all the time.
