    7 interchangeable sentences

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether the following sentences are interchangeable?

1.It didn’t appeal to me at all.
2.It didn’t speak to me at all.
3.It didn’t grab me at ll.
4.I just couldn’t get into it.
    5.It didn’t impress me.
    6.It left me cold.
    7.It left me unmoved.

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V.

3.It didn’t grub me at ll.

    7.It left me unmoved.

What does grub mean? The only meaning I know is a noun...a grub like a sort of worm or catapillar (a bug).

Good work though...the other ones are great. :)

Hmm... I guess "grub" can be a verb as well: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/grub
I also guess Vil asks whether the sentences are interchangeable.

    Re: 7 interchangeable sentences

    Hi English_coach,

    Thank you for your backing.

As a matter of fact there is a typo in my original post, especially in sentence 3. In reality, you have to read “grab” instead of “grub”.

    Thank you again.

    Regards,

    V.
