    teaching

can you tell me which of the following snetences would be hardest to teach an English language learner and why?

    1-I studied last night.
    2-I live on Albatross Street.
    3-I am hungry.

They all seem easy to learnto me. I think maybe #2 because of the intransitive verb use as a transitive verb.

    Carolyn, welcome to the forums!

All 3 sentences should be relatively 'easy' for an English learner to understand. I don't think one is more difficult than another.

    Cheers,

    Re: teaching

They are all pretty easy, if you have to choose one, I would go for, 'I studied last night' because it is using the simple past form of 'to study' which requires changing 'y' to 'i'. The others are simple present where the verbs are in the infinitive (unconjugated) form.
