    Please check

    Hello Teachers,

Could you please check the following sentences?

    1) A: why did you call me so late last night?
B: I had to tell you what happened/has happened/had happened.

please tell me which one is correct if,'B' still has not told 'A' whatever he wanted to tell him last night.

    2) If I meet him, the first thing I will/would do is take him to a Doctor.

    Please help.

    2) If I meet him, the first thing I will/would do is take him to a Doctor. Realconditional sentence, so "will" is appropriate.

    Please help.
