    Spoken english' confusions of mine

    Hi English Teachers and others,

Could you kindly help me resolve few of my following doubts in my everyday spoken English?

Which of the following sentences are correct?

I have done many things for you over the last few days.
I have done many things for you in the last few days.
I did many things for you in the last few days
I did many things for you over the last few days.

    Thanks,
    Kiran

Re: Spoken english' confusions of mine

V I have done many things for you over the last few days.
V I have done many things for you in the last few days.
V? I did many things for you in the last few days
V? I did many things for you over the last few days.

I don't see any real difference between "in" and "over" the last few days. Therefore the present perfect is classically correct: the time extends to the present moment. The simple past is very common here, but without any context to sustain the indefinite form, I'd pick either of the first two.
