    will be -ing

In a textbook I noticed this quite confusing part:

    C. We also use will be -ing in a different way to talk about complete actions in the future

    For example:

    • The government will be making a statement about the crisis later today.
    • Will you be going away this summer?
    • Later in the programme, I'll be talking to the Minister of Education.
    • Our best player is injured and won't be playing in the game on Saturday.
In these examples will be -ing is similar to (be) going to....[emphasis added]

    > I've always known that the future progressive is used in an action that is ongoing in the future...usually in examples interrupted by another future action.

What do you think of the above lesson? Is it possible to use the progressive in actions completed?

    Thanks!

These are all correct. Is that what you are asking?

What does it mean to say complete actions in the original post?
