    I was saying : "the students have 2 exams on the same day" and another person said : many students have 2 exams in the same day" . whcih one is more appropriate?

    "on the same day" is the only correct in a language exam. Everything is correct in English. Have you not yet realized that? The question remains, though: How many eyebrows will your English raise?
