Smile Is it a correct phrase?

    Dear teachers:

"In the summer, the sun can be dangerous"

Is the phrase "in the summer" correct?

I think it should be "in summer"
for example: in summer, in winter....

    Thanks in advance!

    No, both are OK.
    Summer sun can be dangerous.

    Thanks.

    But I think

"In summer, the sun can be dangerous" is more correct comparing with "In the summer, the sun can be dangerous"

    Am I right?
