Smile "between... and ... " or "between... to ... "

"He travelled between January 21 and February 21"

I think the correct way is "between January 21 to February 21".

"The sun is the strongest between noon and 4pm"

I think the correct way is "between noon to 4pm".

"between.. and ... "or "between... to ... ", which expression is right?

    Thanks in advance.
