how do I get to this address?

    Hi,
please could you advice me on the following.

I don't understand usage of the present simple (and also the word order) in situations like this:
"Can you tell me how do I get to this address?"

    I would rather say:
"Can you tell me how I will get to this address?"
"Can you tell me how I
    can get to this address?"

    Thanks a lot.
    T.

    reversed word order applies:
    how I could get to
    How I will get to
    how I get to
    how to get to

    Hi,
please could you (advice) me on the following. 'Advice' is a noun, 'advise' is the verb you need in this sentence. When we advise (verb) someone, we give them advice (noun).

Re: how do I get to this address?

Thank you. I understand what you say.

But it is still not clear to me why:
    1. do I get is used (present simple) ?
    2. question word order do I is used

The original sentence "Can you tell me how do I get to this address?" is from Spoken English Blog/Website: Learn to speak fluently: Asking address in English and I suppose it is correct.

It would better with a little punctuation:

Can you tell me, how do I get to this address?
