    correct?

    Hi,

could you please tell me whether the highlighted sentence is correct? It is a letter sent by an attorney to a company which asked the attorney to provide a legal analysis of a certain situation. In this letter, a short introduction ends with the following sentence:

So much for the introduction and as a brief insight into the task assigned by you.

And the next part of the letter gives more detailed explanations.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hanka
