    Talking As....as !

    Hey guys ...

    Just wanna ask about "as....as" .

    is that possible to say : She is as nice as me / I am as knackered as you ?

    I've seen it somewhere , wanted to ask about it .

    Also consider the following sentences:

    - She is as nice as I am.
    - I am as knackered as you are.

    You do not have to write the "am" and the "are," but they are still there as parts of the statement. I thought this would help you understand how the sentences would sound if you wrote them out in full.

    You are 100% correct. :) The use of as...as can be used in many different ways to compare something to something else.

    As hungry as a horse
    As funny as Jim Carrey
    As strong as an OX

    Those are more expressions (above) but you can use it as well to compare yourself to others. I am as smart as she is. I am as capable as my brother.
