    Give one word substitute for the following:-

    (a) A false, superficial or artificial appearance or effect.

    (b) Unrestrained expression of words or feelings.

    (c) The science or study of the origins and forms of words especially as used in a specialized field.

    (d) Opposition to the spread of knowledge; a policy of withholding knowledge from public.

    (e) Biography of saints or venerated persons.

    (f) To criticize severely, find fault with, to reproach severely, scald.

    (g) To withdraw from an organization, resign, quit.
