    Help For A Sentence

She came just a moment ago and said that he is still waiting.

She has just come and said that he is still waiting.

Can I change the sentence like this for tense harmony?

Yes. "[Has] said". The situation remains the same, but our perception of it moves from the past to the present. Since "he" has been waiting the entire time, the shift makes everything harmonious. Even better: She has just come to say he is still waiting.

No. The second is better, I think, but the first one is perfectly all right.

Keep in mind that the present perfect is a present, not a past tense.
