    Cool fit

    Hi there!

    Can we use "fit" in the following context?:

    "I'm ill today. I hope I'll be fit tomorrow." I heard someone say this and it sounded strange to my ears. In that case, I'd rather say, "I hope I'll be better/fine tomorrow".

    Can you help me please?
