    what is the difference between those 2 sentences

    X company accepts that ;

    1-Not to advertise its Service on Y websites
    2-Not to accept advertising from Y websites

    With #1, you will not visit Y Web sites and see advertising for company X.

    With #2, you will not see advertisint from Y Web sites while you are on the site for company X.

    Let us say that X is a cigarette company. With #1, it promises to not advertise on sites for children.

    Let us say that X is a company that promotes children's products. With Y, it agrees to not have ads for pornographic sites on its own Web page.

    Thank you. I actually quoted those from a protocol that we are going to make. However, I didn't understand the liabilities that we are accepting very well.

    Does that simply mean, we wont advertise ourself on y web site, and also we wont advertise Y web site on our website, simply there wont be any advertisement relationship with y company.

    It doesn't limit your advertising except on your own and on their Web sites.

    You could, for example, have a print ad in a magazine that says "Proud to be a trusted partner of Company Y."

    You could even advertsise on OTHER Web sites.
