    "it" question

At the aquarium, tremendous tanks were placed everywhere with a wide range of fish swimming in it.
Is the sentence right? I'm quite suspicious of the it bit. Shouldn't it be plural? How come it is it?

    Hi Hank,

You have good intuition! It should be "them", not "it".
