    Talking mass

Every molecule of water in the natural system eventually circulates through the hydrologic cycle. Tremendous quantities of water are cycled annually. And, living organisms - plants, and animals as well - are also part of the cycle, since water is a large part of the mass of most organisms. (Hello, everybody! What does "mass" mean in this context? I found several definitions of "mass" in the dictionary, I do not figure out which one is better for this sentence. What is your opinion? Thank you very much! ) Living organisms store and use water, since water is the ... uh ... solvent for most biological reactions.

If you have studied basic physics then you will know that somethings weight is its mass times its acceleration (due to gravity).
