    Grammer Terminoligy

I completed my CELTA application about 2 months ago, and am now waiting to hear as to the date of my interview. I was asked to research a few grammatical areas that I suppose they felt I needed more work in. However I seem to be stuck with one area and am hoping someone may be able to assist me with.

    The question is as follows:

Could you discover the correct grammar terminology for the following structures highlighted in the application form:

I've been to the bank vs I went to the bank
If I had the money, I'd buy a car vs If I have the money, I'll buy a car

I do not believe, however I could be wrong, that I am simply being asked to point out the nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. I'm a assuming they must be asking for the difference between the two statements on a grammatical level. As to tense and inflection or something to that effect. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Re: Grammer Terminoligy

They are asking for you to look at the grammar in terms/terminology of the structures/how each sentence is structured.

They then give two sentences for comparison:
I've been to the bank vs I went to the bank

Can you see that the tense forms of the verbs are different? What is the tense of each?

Similarly with the next two sentences with regard to tense; but there is a second structural aspect. Can you name the structure and so, the tense used?
