    Question American or British...again

Most of my co-workers in Europe have the conception that the British English is more “distinguished, eminent, notorious and illustrious” than the American English, and when I travel to Costa Rica, (in Central America of course) it is the opposite way. Any comment about it?

    Re: American or British...again

Have you watched a range of English language TV programs, and similarly, a range of American programs, from Jerry Springer Show, Oprah, to quality drama such as Damages, or Boston Legal?

Then you can judge for yourself.
