    Our Are

It seems like I hear people using these the same way. Are they interchangeable? What is the propriate way to use nthese two words?

    Hello!

    Our / Are

There is a distinct difference in the sound of these two words when they are pronounced 'properly'.
However, people with certain types of accents do pronounce them so that they both sound like 'are'.

They aren't (not ourn't) interchangeable. 'our' is 'our', 'are' is 'are'

They are not interchangeable. They mean different things.

Are is pronounced one way: ahr.
Hour is pronounced one way: owr.
Our is pronounced two ways: ahr and owr.
