    what book is the best...

    Good evening,

please recommend me a book,a handbook or a dictionary that fully explains differences for example between device&appliance&machine or hurt&injure&wound ,obvious&normal etc.
It doesn't matter if it's British or American, Oxford, Cambridge, Longman, Macmillan etc.(must be on the market)
I'm at B2 level and this would help me very much.

    Thank You in advance,
    Jiri Lindovsky

    A couple of recommendations:
"Right Word Wrong Word" by L.G Alexander(Longman)
    "Word for word"by Clark&Painton (Oxford)
    Longman Language Activator (Dictionary)
