    just check this sentences wheter its correct or not...

    1. Temp. of indore has reached (above/over) 40 degree centigrade.

    2. He is (above/over) 75 year so requires extra care.

    3. what is the (current/present) status of production.

    4. how long have you been in your (present/current) job.

    5. i am too (afraid/scared) of snakes.

    6. He (had/caught) high fever with cough and cold.

    are also possible. It's not just choosing one sometimes, because if that was so, synonyms wouldn't exist!

    and regarding 'indoor':
    The correct forms are:
    (adverb) The temperature indoors.... (adjective) or The indoor temperature...
