    Question help..

Can you please help me correct this paragraph and explain the errors for me please?

In the passed ten years their have been many changes to the education curriculum. Many of these changes have occurred as a result of research; others have simply been top-down changes from politicians. The affect these changes have had upon childrens’ learning is not clear. Research have shown that measuring the impact of educational policies is difficult. Student’s learning is affected by so many different variables that many researchers now believe that multi-level modelling is an essential tool in establishing policy effectiveness.

beacuse affect is a verb, whereas effect is a noun

"of" beacuse there is an effect resulted by things.
    "that" is a complementiser
if you look at the rest of the sentence you will notice that there is a part which is " is not clear"

I agree with you, bhaisahab, I'd say :

The effect (that) these changes have had...

    (that) = not necessary

    tareq10, I think you're wrong.

Only the second and third ones are correct. The third is more usual.
