    initials after signature

Can anyone tell me what the initials Ir could stand for when placed two spaces below the signature on a full block business letter?

    Re: initials after signature

I've never seen it. Ir doesn't look like initials to me. It doesn't really look like anything. Could it just be a mistake?

Jr. is short for Junior. That's the closest thing I can think of, and it wouldn't make sense placed where yours is.
