    Cool hangover

    Hi,

Can I say: "Sorry for playing so badly. I'm in hangover." (in bad shape because I was dancing and drinking during the whole night).

    Hey,

As Soup says, say "have a hangover". Never "in hangover".

In BrE if you're speaking you might say "have got"

Sorry for playing so badly.(It's just that) I've got (have) a terrible hangover because ...

I was up all night drinking and dancing.
I was up till the early hours drinking and dancing.
I was drinking and dancing the whole night.
I had a really late night (last night).
I drank too much last night.

    I've got a splitting headache.
    I've got a thumping headache.

I'm (a bit) out of sorts today. (not feeling myself)
    etc...

I'm guessing you play football or something on Saturday mornings or maybe Sunday league... ;o)

Yes, in such moments it's good to focus on something positive.
