1 you have to know that it is impossible for one syllable to be devoid of a vowel.
2 there is a rule which says that a one syllable should consist of:
note: v for vowel c for consonant
e.g: the word 'citizen' has 3 syllables.
ci ti zen you can't say cit iz en
cv cv cvc
note: a consonant can't stand by its own as a syllable, but a vowel can as in
e.g: 'eye' is one syllable. which is a vowel
dangerous is devided as follows: dan ge rous
cvc cv cvc
