    Hi!

    I am not sure about the correct answer.Yet, I would choose b. Could you help me please?

    I doubt that the manager ------------here tomorrow.

    Look at your verb tables for the future tense of 'to be'.

    I thought that the verb doubt should be followed by a subjunctive. As a matter of fact I am sure now that the correct answer is c : would be

    It's causative predicates that are followed by old subjunctive - demand, request, etc. Predicates of assessments are not.

    Thank you very much.
    Let me explain why I was so unsure about this simple verb. A Romanian teacher did an exercise and, among other problems, he included this sentence in a chapter called subjunctiveness. I thought that the verb should have smth. to do with subjunctive though I felt it might be something confusing.
