    so vs. such

    i'd like to know the structure for when we use "so" and "such".
    how do i explain to my students when one or the other is used grammatically.

    So modifies adjectives and adverbs:

    Megan is so beautiful.
    She dresses so beautifully.


    Such modifies nouns:

    Megan is such a beautiful woman.
