    'on the clock'?

"She is always doing her peronal business on the clock."

What does the phrase mean? Thanks in advance.

    Re: 'on the clock'?

    At work. On work time.

Some workplaces have special clocks called punch clocks or time clocks (redundant, I know) that record a person's time on the job.
